Canyon Creek Riding Stables

If you’re looking to explore the landscape and region from the ground, then consider checking out the Canyon Creek Riding Stables. Join in on one-hour horseback guided tour that will take you through a scenic trail and past historical and beautiful landmarks. Ride by Boot Hill Cemetery as you travel to Canyon Creek’s very own western Town, Tombstone. Meet the sheriff of Tombstone and learn about the history of this western town. After that cross over the bridge to find Lost Canyon, with beautiful centuries-old rock formations. On the way back to the stables you’ll also pass by a breathtaking waterfall. In the end, you can even visit the petting zoo for the kids!

Cascade Mountain

If you’re visiting the Dells from late fall to very early spring, then consider checking out the nearby Cascade Mountain. Perfect for snowboarders and skiers, the slopes are family-friendly and in perfect condition for a day out in the snow. There are plenty of trails to fly down on, and there are even lessons you can sign up for if you’re new to these amazing snow sports. While you’re there you can also hang out in the Ski Lodge with plenty of other awesome people in staff, even grab a meal from the Peak Café upstairs in the lodge or the Daisy which is located on the top of the hill. Mirror Lake State Park

 Covering 2000 acres and located just 3 miles south of Wisconsin Dells, this is the perfect place to explore the nature of Wisconsin. See their sandstone bluffs overlooking Mirror Lake, find excellent fishing spots, go swimming or canoeing in the waters, and explore miles of trails while hiking, biking, or during the winter, cross-country ski trails. There are plenty of campsites and picnic areas to plan a nice day out in the woods surrounded by those wonderful pine trees and sandstone bluffs. Mirror Lake State Park is the perfect place to lose yourself in the beautiful natural world.
